WE BELIEVE

• In one true God. He is triune in nature – revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is personal, transcendent, eternal, self-existent and the Sovereign Creator of all things. We believe that He alone is God, the First and Last, there is no other.

• That Jesus Christ is God; that He became fully man through virgin birth, was born in Bethlehem; He lived a sinless life and died an atoning death on the cross; finished the work of redemption, and physically rose from the dead. He now lives and intercedes for us.

​

• That Jesus Christ is the full and final expression of God to man. He is the only access to God and “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” - Acts 4:12

​

• That all people are sinful by nature, alienated from God and blameworthy for their own sins. All who reject God’s gracious offer of justification and eternal life through the merits of Jesus Christ will spend eternity in hell. However, God loves people and does not want any to be lost. Therefore all who confess Jesus as Lord, repent of their sin and believe on Jesus will be saved. This salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith alone, in Jesus Christ.

• The Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments, is the only inspired Word of God revealing all necessary truth for man to trust Jesus Christ for salvation. The Bible is sufficient and inerrant. 

​

• That Jesus Christ is building His Church by the addition of all who are being saved. God sovereignly works in men’s lives, in and through His Church. His Church transcends denominational lines, cultures, languages and styles of worship.

​

• God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood or adoption. 

​

• Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. It is God’s unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His church and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to biblical standards, and the means for procreation of the human race.
