OUR STORY

We are Freedom Fellowship Church. We are a young local church with kingdom-size objectives. We were founded in 2015 with the support of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). We cooperate with the SBC because we share their mission and vision to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our current leadership team consists of Senior Pastor Jeremy Scott and Associate Pastor Ray Duran.

We believe strongly in Jesus’ command to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). It is our desire as the local church to live out Christ’s mission as the church. We also take Jesus’ command to love God and love our neighbor as ourselves (Luke 10:27) as our aim. Our purpose as a local body of believers is to love God supremely, love each other sacrificially, and make disciples intentionally where we live and around the world.

We might be small in numbers, but we can assure you there is more than meets the eye with Freedom Fellowship. We desire to be known as people who love Jesus and each other. We are also honest enough with ourselves to admit we are still learning and growing to be like Jesus. We are still maturing in our understanding and practice of loving God and others. We are not perfect, and we are thankful that our Lord Jesus Christ is not asking for perfection. Jesus is asking us to give up ourselves and to receive His LIFE (1 John 5:12). Jesus is asking us to take ourselves off the throne of our hearts and put Him in His rightful place (Luke 9:23-26).

OUR PURPOSE

We exist to love God above all, reflect His grace through genuine love for one another, and make disciples through corporate worship, the Scriptures, and fellowship.

DENOMINATIONAL AFFILIATION

We cooperate with the SBC because we share their mission and vision to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:16-20).
