THE CHURCH IS A FAMILY- COMMUNITY

The church is God's kingdom people who are fellow citizens and members of God's household by the blood of Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:13-15; 2:18-19). Members of the church belong to God's household, and each family chooses to commit themselves to the local church.

At Freedom Fellowship Church, the family is the center of the community and is vital to the life and growth of the church. The New Testament envisions followers of Christ sharing life together. Below are how we try to do that here at Freedom Fellowship Church.

  • Membership - If Christ is the cornerstone of His church (Ephesians 2:19-22), then membership is the cement that holds us all together.

  • Discipleship - We believe that discipleship is simple. It is not about a program or checklist of spiritual activities. Discipleship is living alongside members of God's household, doing life together, and encouraging one another in their sanctification (the lifelong journey of being conformed to the image of Christ - Romans 8:29).

  • Hospitality - In the Scriptures, hospitality is not an activity but a mindset welcoming strangers into one's life. Biblical hospitality is a key distinction of Freedom Fellowship Church. Much of our ministry falls under the category of hospitality. This could include sharing a meal or visiting before and after our services.

  • Volunteer & Serve - There are as many ways to volunteer and serve at Freedom Fellowship Church as there are people. Christ has commanded the church to serve one another as a primary way to live out the gospel message (Matthew 25:40). If you are new to our church, we'd first like to serve you by allowing you time to get to know us before serving or volunteering. For that reason, the gateway to all services in our church is membership.

We encourage families to worship together. We provide ways to keep children engaged during our worship services (e.g., Activity sheets, kid's messages). We also provide a nursery for children too young to participate in Sunday morning worship.

We believe in providing opportunities for deeper fellowship and developing each member's faith. Below, see how you can grow in fellowship and faith.
